In cooperation with “Ymer Prizreni” Economic High School, ITI Pro Kosova welcomed the delegation of the Turkish organization BASAM and a group of businesses from Türkiye to a special “B2B Express Networking & Matchmaking” session, creating new opportunities for business cooperation, professional networking, and youth support in Prizren.
ITI Pro Kosova, in cooperation with “Ymer Prizreni” Economic High School in Prizren, organized and hosted a special “B2B Express Networking & Matchmaking” session with the participation of the delegation of the Turkish organization BASAM and a group of 10 businesses from Türkiye. This event represents an important step in strengthening international connections, creating new professional contacts, and expanding opportunities for cooperation between the business community and young people in Kosovo and Türkiye.
The event was held within the framework of the project “Start-Up Prizreni: Inspire, Train, Build the Future”, supported by the Directorate of Tourism and Economic Development of the Municipality of Prizren (DTZHE). Through this activity, a concrete platform was created where local businesses, Turkish businesses, and young participants had the opportunity to meet, exchange ideas, and explore new forms of cooperation in support of economic and professional development.
Businesses from a wide range of sectors participated in the session, including energy and electrical services, construction, façades, PVC/AL systems, electromechanics, elevators and escalators, furniture and equipment, food products, cosmetics, perfumery, and coffee. This diversity of sectors gave the event broad relevance and created space for concrete discussions on partnership, investment, and support for new initiatives.
An important part of the event was the participation of the most outstanding students who had successfully completed ITI Pro Kosova’s trainings. They were given the opportunity to present their ideas and open initial discussions for support and cooperation with partner businesses from Türkiye. This component of the event demonstrated the value of investing in youth and the importance of creating spaces where talent, preparation, and real opportunities come together.
The event also produced important outcomes for future cooperation. Two ITI Pro Kosova students will continue collaboration with the Turkish newspaper “Balkan Günlüğü” in design and management, while “Ymer Prizreni” Economic High School is expected to establish a twinning cooperation with “Ege Meslek Yuksekokulu” in Izmir. In addition, ITI Pro Kosova has been invited to visit Izmir to deepen international cooperation and create new opportunities for young people and institutional partners.
ITI Pro Kosova considers this activity a particularly important moment for the youth and business community in Prizren. Through such initiatives, the organization aims to continue building bridges between education, entrepreneurship, and international partners, while empowering young people and creating better conditions for professional, economic, and social development.
