The project “Cross-Border Cooperation for Craftsmanship and Regional Networking” represents an important initiative aimed at strengthening connections among institutional and professional actors that support craftsmanship, innovation, and economic development in the region. Within this engagement, ITI Pro Kosova has taken an active role in cooperative processes and meetings among the involved partners, providing professional contribution and support in building a more coordinated and sustainable approach.
This project is based on cooperation with the Prizren Chamber, the National Chamber of Crafts of Albania, and the Craft Chamber of Skopje, creating a regional platform for dialogue, exchange of experience, identification of shared challenges, and the development of new opportunities for craftspeople, professionals, and partner organizations. The trilateral meeting held within this cooperation served as an important moment for deepening the partnership and defining concrete areas of joint action.
At its core, the project aims to strengthen craftsmanship as a sector with economic, professional, and cultural value by connecting it more closely with regional cooperation networks and new development-oriented approaches. Through this cross-border cooperation, the intention has been to create more opportunities for knowledge exchange, promotion of good practices, expansion of professional networks, and encouragement of initiatives that contribute to the sustainable development of communities.
ITI Pro Kosova’s role in this project is linked to supporting processes that combine innovation, skills development, regional networking, and the creation of partnerships with long-term impact. The project represents an important example of cooperation among actors from Kosovo, Albania, and North Macedonia, contributing to a more integrated approach to the development of craftsmanship and the strengthening of professional ties in the Western Balkans.
For ITI Pro Kosova, this project is evidence of its commitment to supporting initiatives that empower professional communities, encourage regional cooperation, and create new opportunities for economic, institutional, and social development beyond local boundaries.
